Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
dulce de leche (recipe above)
milk chocolate chips, melted
Directions:
First make your own homemade Dulce de Leche...don't be scared to make your own...it is so easy!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Pour 1 can of sweetened condensed milk in
an 8 X 8 Pyrex pan and place that pan in a larger pan. Fill the outside
plan with water so that it is halfway up the Pyrex pan.
Cover the 8 x 8 with foil and bake for about 90 minutes and then let it cool while you make the tarts.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add salt and flour until soft
dough forms. Roll into balls and press into little tart tins or pans.
Bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. Cool. Once cooled, remove tarts
from pans and fill the centers with the dulce de leche and drizzle
melted chocolate across the tops.
