- 1 package Duncan Hines® Classic Yellow Cake Mix
- ⅓ cup butter or margarine, melted
- 4 large eggs, divided
- 1⅓ cups maple syrup
- ⅓ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan. Reserve 2/3 cup dry cake mix.
- Combine remaining cake mix with butter and 1 egg until well blended. (Mixture will be crumbly.) Press into prepared pan.
- Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack.
- Combine reserved cake mix, maple syrup, remaining 3 eggs, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed 2 minutes. Pour over crust and sprinkle with walnuts.
- Bake 26 to 28 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into bars.
