Nut And Honey Pear Dip

Nut and Honey Pear Dip recipe
Ingredients:

1/2   cup  PLANTERS Walnut Pieces
1/4   cup  honey, divided
1      pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, softened
1      medium pear, chopped
RITZ Reduced Fat Crackers

Directions:


Mix walnuts and 2 Tbsp. of the honey in small bowl; set aside.
Combine Neufchatel, remaining 2 Tbsp. honey and pear in medium bowl until well blended. Spread mixture onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate or bowl. Top with walnut mixture.
Microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 min. or until heated through. Serve with crackers.

Storage Know-How:
 
Nuts have a high oil content that makes them susceptible to spoilage. To keep shelled nuts from turning rancid, store them in the refrigerator. If you buy nuts in bulk and want to keep them for several months, store them in the freezer.
 
Variation:
 
Prepare as directed, but bake at 350ºF for 15 min. instead of heating in the microwave.
