Strawberry Pie

No Bake Strawberry Pie

If you are looking for the ultimate in a fresh dessert you have to try this amazing Strawberry Pie. The colours are heightened by the beautiful glaze and it’s an easy recipe that will not fail you.

Ingredients:

Crust
  • ½ c. (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
Filling
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (6 oz.) package strawberry jell-o
  • 3 quarts strawberries, cleaned and de-stemmed
  • *If you are using a shallow or smaller pie plate, you will need fewer strawberries and less glaze.

Directions:

Crust
  1. Mix butter, sugar, and flour and press into a greased deep pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Filling
  1. Bring water, sugar, and cornstarch to a boil, stirring, until thick and clear.
  2. Add strawberry jell-o; mix well and cool.
  3. Fold in strawberries.
  4. Pour into pie shell.
  5. Store in refrigerator until set; serve with whipped cream.

Strawberry Pie

Strawberry Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans Duncan Hines® Comstock® or Wilderness® Strawberry Pie Filling & Topping
  • 1 prepared double crust pie dough
  • 1 egg white, beaten

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 424°F.
  2. Press 1 pie crust into an un-greased 9-inch pie pan. Brush bottom and sides of crust with egg white. Pour fruit filling evenly into the crust. Place crust over the filling, pressing edges together to seal; flute.
  3. Brush top crust evenly with egg white.
  4. Bake 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. If needed, cover crust with foil to prevent excessive browning.
  5. Cool pie on rack before serving.

Strawberry Pie

Ingredients:

2-1/2 Cups Water
3 T Sugar
3 T Corn Starch
1 Small Package Strawberry Jello


Directions

Boil water with sugar and cornstarch. Cook till thick. Remove from burner and add Jello package. Wait till cool and pour over 2-1/2 cups of strawberries into baked crust.
