This popular restaurant dessert is the perfect recipe for entertaining. It can be made ahead of time and will impress your guests.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar divided
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Ground
- 4 teaspoons Pure Coffee Extract
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 16 soft ladyfingers, split (about 1 1/2 packages)
- 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- Directions:

- Mix water, 1/2 cup of the sugar, cinnamon and coffee extract in small saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
- Meanwhile, stir cream cheese, remaining 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla in medium bowl until well blended. Beat cream in large chilled bowl with electric mixer with chilled beaters on medium speed until soft peaks form. Add 1/4 of the whipped cream to cream cheese mixture. Stir gently with spatula until well blended. Add remaining whipped cream. Stir gently to incorporate whipped cream.
- Dip 1/2 of the ladyfingers on both sides in extract mixture. Arrange ladyfingers in single layer in bottom of 8-inch baking dish, cutting ladyfingers to fit if necessary. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over ladyfingers. Dip remaining ladyfingers in remaining extract mixture. Place over cream cheese mixture. Drizzle with any remaining extract mixture. Spread remaining cream cheese mixture over ladyfingers. Cover.
