Ingredients:
2/3 cup cocoa
3 cups sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients. Bring to a bubbling boil while stirring occasionally. Continue to boil without stirring until when tested in cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Let it cool without stirring until top becomes glossy. Beat to combine vanilla and butter. Spread into buttered 9 inch pan. Nuts may be added at final beating if desired.
